Surprise queer meetups at bars across Greater Boston. One night, one crowd, one temporary place to belong.
Follow our official channels for the next bar takeover.
This is not a permanent venue.
Boston Guerrilla Queer Bar is a grassroots, flash-mob-style social group. We choose a local bar, tell the community, and show up together.
For one night, a familiar bar becomes a temporary queer gathering place. No permanent address. No velvet rope. Just a visible, welcoming crowd making room for connection.
The tradition has deep Boston roots. In 2011, Boston Magazine recognized Guerrilla Queer Bar as the city’s “Best Gay Club,” precisely because it could happen wherever the community gathered.
